We would start with a telephone interview. You interview me, and I you. I’ll ask about your goals, and what you think you want to get out of such a relationship. If we decide to engage, I’ll send you a simple business agreement. Many organizations will pay for coaching of their emerging leaders, and I encourage execs to seek that support. The relationship remains with the client alone, even if your organization is paying. All our work is confidential. Sometime in the first 90 days, I encourage us to find a way to have a face to face meeting. Most clients will schedule a monthly 90 minute call, with intermittent email between calls. “prn” calls are a natural part of the engagement, as all professionals have peaks of difficult decisions for which you may want help.
